Sonu Nigam, born Sonu Kumar Nigam on July 30, 1973, in Faridabad, Haryana, is a celebrated Indian playback singer, music director, dubbing artist, and actor. Known for his versatility, Nigam sings predominantly in Hindi and Kannada, with contributions in other Indian languages as well. His career began with the song “Hum To Chhaila Ban Gaye” from the TV serial Talash (1992), followed by his first film song, “O Aasman Wale,” from Aaja Meri Jaan (1993). Nigam also gained fame with his debut album Rafi Ki Yaadein and became a well-known TV host with Sa Re Ga Ma in 1995.
