Anirudh Ravichander, born on October 16, 1990, is an Indian film music director and playback singer, primarily known for his work in the Tamil film industry, with a few compositions in Hindi and Telugu films. Coming from an artistic family—his father, actor Ravi Raghavendra, and mother, classical dancer Lakshmi Ravichander—Anirudh’s musical talent was nurtured from a young age. He began playing the piano at three and was composing by ten. His big break came in 2012 with the viral sensation “Why This Kolaveri Di” from the film 3, establishing him as a leading name in South Indian cinema.
