Tanishk Bagchi

Tanishk Bagchi, born in Kolkata in 1980, is a prominent Indian music composer, singer, and songwriter in Bollywood. Growing up in a musically inclined family, with both parents being musicians, Bagchi was exposed to music from an early age. He attended Frank Anthony Public School and Scottish Church College, where he balanced academics with his growing musical passion. Bagchi began his career composing for television shows like Dance India Dance and Thapki Pyaar Ki. His breakthrough came with the 2014 film The Shaukeens, where he worked on the song “Meherbani.” In 2015, he made a significant impact with his solo debut as a composer for the song “Banno” from Tanu Weds Manu Returns.
