Mangli
Mangli, an acclaimed Indian playback singer, television presenter, and actress, is best known for her vibrant songs in Telugu and other Indian languages like Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi. Her breakthrough came in 2013 when she appeared as a guest artist on the Telugu news channel V6 News for the Dasara festival show Dhoom Dham. She gained immense popularity for her role as Maatakari Mangli on the satirical news show Teenmaar Vaarthalu, alongside Bithiri Sathi. Mangli also worked on Jordar News for HMTV and currently anchors and sings folk songs on MIC TV, where she conducts celebrity interviews titled Mangli Muchata. Celebrated for her performances during Telangana festivals such as Bathukamma and Bonalu, Mangli’s passion for music was nurtured from a young age by her father. Born on June 10, 1994, in Gooty, Andhra Pradesh, she hails from the Banjara community and speaks Lambadi. She earned a diploma in Carnatic Music from SV University and initially aimed to become a music teacher before launching her career in Hyderabad and Bengaluru. Her sister, Indravathi Chauhan, is also a notable singer.
